‘The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. ‘ John 1:4-5 NLT
It is difficult to move or work without light.
Years ago, people would always stop working, travelling, etc once the night came, because it is difficult to do anything productive without light. The only reason we can still work at night sometimes now is because there are now artificial lights.
This is physical light. When it comes to spiritual light however, we discover the same is true, because physical light is made to be an image of spiritual light
It is difficult to see exactly what we should be doing if we don’t have spiritual light. It’s difficult to know how to access God’s blessing, without spiritual light.
Just like it’s difficult to accomplish things without physical light, it is difficult to accomplish things in life without spiritual light.
Our theme verse says that when you receive this light, the power of darkness can never extinguish it, hallelujah. It also says that God is light – 1 John 1:5. He is the light that gives us the ability to get blessed, know where we are, where to go, accomplish things, and know our direction in life, halleluhah!
When you receive the light of God, problems disturbing your progress cannot hide from you anymore. You would not have an issue disturbing your progress in your attitude, or something else you can change, and not know about it. Suddenly, you would receive CLARITY and the STRENGTH you need to win in life. You can see far into your future, and would not need to make mistakes while getting there today, because you know exactly what you are doing!
This will be your year of light. Your life and spiritual eyes are flooded with light, in Jesus mighty Name.
CONFESSION
My spiritual eyes and understanding are flooded with the light of Christ. I know what to do in every situation. I am excelling in everything I do. I am blessed in my coming in and my going out. My spiritual eyes are open, and I am full of the wisdom of God because of this. I am moving forward and I am unstoppable, in Jesus mighty Name.
MORE LIGHT (MEDITATE AND PRAY WITH THESE)
1 John 1:5 ESV This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
John 8:12 ESV Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
1 John 1:7 ESV But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
Matthew 5:14 ESV “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
