What You Want Is In Your Faith

what you want

And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” Matthew 21:22 ESV

Jesus did various miracles while He was on earth. Of every type of miracle He did, however, there was really none He had or maybe needed the involvement of people like His miracles of healing.

In various healing miracles, He would say, ‘Go your way; your faith has healed you’.

In the healing of the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25-34), the healing of the ten lepers (Luke 17:11-19), and the healing of blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46-52), Jesus kept making one particular similar statement: Go your way, YOUR FAITH HAS HEALED YOU’.

But Jesus, I thought you were the one who healed them? Why are you saying it was THEIR FAITH that did it?

In Mark 11:22, Jesus makes it clearer:

Jesus answered and he said to them, “May the faith of God be in you.” “For, amen, I say to you, whoever shall say to this mountain: ‘Be lifted up and fall into the sea’, and will not doubt in his heart but shall believe that thing which he says, anything that he says shall be done for him.” “Therefore I say to you, that everything that you pray and ask, believe that you are receiving it and you shall have it.” Mark 11:22-24 Aramaic Bible in Plain English

In this place, Jesus makes it plain that it really is your faith that moves your mountains. For the woman with the issue of blood, for instance, her faith was even more important to receiving her miracle than talking to Jesus before she received it.

This does NOT mean that prayer to God is not important. Far from it. It is rather showing us that our faith is more important to receiving the answers to those prayers than we realize.

You need to discover that building your faith is the major activity you need to work on to receive answers to your prayers.

Most Christians believe that when their prayers are not being answered for instance, it’s because the Lord is temporarily saying NO to their prayers.

However, the Word says this about this:

For all the promises of God [in Christ] are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Cor 1:20

In other words, in Christ, God always says YES to His promises to us, and also to all our prayers, as far as they are based on His promises.

The Word says faith comes by hearing (and speaking) the Word – Rom 10:17.

Build your faith today by hearing and speaking the Word, and start getting the manifestation of your prayer points. Glory to God!
