secret to success

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matt.6:33.

It matters what you put first in your life. It is what the secret to success depends on. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it (Matt.16:25). One way you give God your life, is to give God your time. Seeking the kingdom first is giving God the best of your day. Success is sure, things become easy when you give your time to God.

The spiritual controls the physical. When you take charge spiritually, it affects your physical world. Whenever you begin to bother about these physical things, too busy with your job, too busy with your life that you don’t even have time to build your spirit and edify yourself with God’s Word and in God’s presence, it’s dangerous. You do it to your detriment.

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her (Luke.10:41-42).

The truth is that one thing is needful. What was Mary doing? Mary was at the feet of Jesus listening and learning from Him.

I understand that most of the time our to-do list is so full that we don’t even see any time in the day to do that which Jesus says is needful. Taking time out from your job, business, family, career, might seem like a big risk to take but is an extremely necessary spiritual principle.

There is something called spiritual investment. The way you invest your time and resources on your business, career, family or any other thing, is the same way you need to invest in the spirit. The good thing about spiritual investment is that it affects your physical world.

Spending time in the secret place with the Lord is like having a lot of money to spend. You can spend it on studying the Word, speaking in tongues, listening to an audio or video message, confessing the Word, worship, going through your Word notes, or just talking to the Lord and listening to Him. It’s just like the choices you have when you have a lot of money. They are so much, and one thing is for sure, they will all make your life better.

It does not matter what is going on in your life at the moment, or the challenges and difficulties you are facing, redirect your focus. Make spiritual investments. Give God the best time of your day.

The Bible says; …for by strength shall no man prevail (1Sam.2:9). You need to know your source. As children of God, God is our source and our sustainer. When you give your time to him, you will keep rising higher and higher like an edifice, both spiritually and physically. Hallelujah!

I seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all my needs are added onto me. I am doing the needful thing, and investing my time and resources in the spirit everyday. I am rising in the spirit, and doing exploits in the Kingdom of God for Jesus.

John.15:7 – If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

1Sam.2.9 – He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

Zechariah 4:6 Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerub′babel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. 7 What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerub′babel you shall become a plain.

Eph.5.18-19 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.
