Then this Daniel became distinguished above all the other high officials and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him. And the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom. Daniel 6:3
Consistency is key. But how come? The Bible says a spirit of excellence was found in Daniel, and this brought him great increase in life.
In different places, the Word encourages us to be excellent. Excellence brings increase and glory.. It distinguished Daniel so much that he was set over the whole of the very large Babylonian Kingdom.
Consistency is the most important part of a life of excellence. It is impossible to be excellent without being consistent. It is also impossible to achieve goals and lasting success without consistency.
It is actually difficult to turn your life around without consistency. If you take the decision to change any part of your life, without consistency, you will start but not finish.
In the days before now, we have been talking about the 7 major success secrets, as follows:
- Continuous improvement
- Discover you, your path, what works for you, and keep on following it
- Focus
- Hard work/self-discipline
- Strategy
- Giving/forgiving
- Consistency
They are all so important, but without consistency, you will start working on them, and you will most likely not continue or finish.
You have to be consistent to start in Christ, in career, in business and even in the family, and not just start, but finish well. Without consistency, you will begin, but not be able to continue or end.
You cannot take life-changing decisions and steps without consistency, because most powerful steps will not turn your life around in one day or even one year, so you have to be consistent to see lasting results.
Excellence is the fruit of consistency.
Consistency is the exam for the next level of life. When you become consistent in what God assigns to you, He will lift you up to the next level of life.
You need to build up your consistency muscle in prayers and studying the Word, to even keep your spiritual life from going down.
Start focusing on your consistency today, and the Lord will use it to turn your life around.

CONFESSION
I am more than a conqueror in everything I do. I am consistent and excellent. I do not drop the ball. I follow up on my decisions in excellence with perseverance, and the Lord lifts me to new levels. My life is full of excellence, and I am blessed and great, hallelujah!
