Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice. Proverbs 13:10

The book of Proverbs talks about wisdom. Wisdom is a spirit that guides us into success.

However, a large part of Wisdom is actually the principles of success.

Success is based on principles.

Principles like the importance of discipline, diligence, savings, consistency, marketing, constantly putting ideas into action, humility, etc, are what really build financial and other types of success.

A lot of times, as Christians, we pray for things like financial success from the Lord, and we feel that if we pray enough, it would just appear.

However, the application of principles is what creates success. Prayer is extremely important, but it is not enough.

All throughout Scripture, we see that the Lord always used people to make changes on the earth. Think about it, couldn’t the Lord have saved people in the flood by Himself, without Noah? Couldn’t He have saved the Israelites by Himself without Moses? Couldn’t He have helped them without Samson?

We keep seeing a trend throughout the scriptures. When the Lord wants to make changes in the earth, He uses a man. After the six days of creation, the Word says He rested. Since then, He has been using men to make the changes He wants.

The changes He wants to make happen in your life are not different. You are the man (or woman) the Lord is going to use to make those changes. You have prayed. He has answered. You will still pray, and He will still answer. His answer is to put the ability to make it happen in you, and teach you how to do it, hallelujah.

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 4:7

Reed your Bible, get a book on success, self improvement, business, etc that the Lord leads you to get today. Keep reading that devotional. If it is this, great. Keep seeking to learn the principles of success, and putting them to work in your life.

Then those principles and your actions will be the tools the Lord uses to turn your life around. The Lord will use you as a tool to turn your life and the lives of others around forever, hallelujah.

You shall surely win, in Jesus Name.

CONFESSION

I am learning the principles of success, I am putting them to work in my life, and I am becoming the Lord’s dream concerning me. My life is becoming the manifestation of His purpose, destiny, and glory. I am moving higher and higher in life every day as I learn principles from the Word in Jesus Name.

Proverbs 3:13-18 Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
