A MOUTH AND WISDOM

Friday October 20, 2023

Dear brothers, is your life full of DIFFICULTIES and temptations? Then be happy, for when the way is rough, your patience has a chance to grow. So let it grow, and don’t try to squirm out of your problems. For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete.

If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it. James 1:2-5 TLB

What is the right response to difficulties or challenges?

James tells us above that it is HAPPINNESS, or JOY. Why is this, though? Well, when you respond this way, you will have the gift of PATIENCE. James says that when patience has its perfect work, you will be perfect and entire, wanting nothing – James 1:4. In other words, there is a blessing inside every challenge, whether it’s a challenge to your faith or a financial or health challenge, etc.

What cannot kill you will just make you stronger and better, glory to God.

There’s a blessing that will change your life forever in that challenge or trial you are going through. In order to activate it though, you need to respond with joy and happiness in spite of the challenge.

The next verse is still talking about the same thing, difficulties or challenges:

If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it. James 1:5 TLB

If after praising God and rejoicing, you still want to know what the Lord wants us to do in that particular situation or challenge, James said, JUST ASK. The King James says, just ask for Wisdom – James 1:5.

Wisdom is your inheritance in Christ Jesus.

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict. Luke 21:15

Just like the Lord God gave a rod to Moses, in this day and age, He has given us a mouth and wisdom – Luke 21:15. Hallelujah.

Romans 10:8, talking about the Word which the Lord has put in our mouth, says: The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.

Glory to God! The Lord has given you a mouth and wisdom. The Word in your mouth is your rod, and is even greater than the rod of Moses, because Moses didn’t have the sacrifice of Jesus working for him. Glory to God!

Be joyful in challenges and use the Word of God in your mouth, and the Spirit of Wisdom shall make you win in every single situation, hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I am full of the power of God, and I am blessed in everything that concerns me. I am joyful and happy in the midst of every challenge, and in Jesus Name I know who I am. I fill my mouth with the Word of God, and I speak forth the Wisdom of God into my world, in Jesus Name.
