He’s at Work in You
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Philippians 2:13 KJV
Sometimes, we feel that we need to do all the pushing to be serious with our spiritual lives. We think we need to prove ourselves to the Lord and become what he dreams of us.
However, the Word tells us above that it is the Lord who is working in you to will and do of His good pleasure.
The good pleasure of the Lord is the will of God. In other words, the Lord works in us all the time to make us not just have the WILL to do His pleasure, but to even make us DO it. Hallelujah.
As long as you are born again, you already have this power at work in you every time.
You do not need to struggle to do His will. All you have to do is take advantage of His power at work in you by speaking in tongues, and let His will flow out from you!
You are not just the one trying to serve Him; He is actually the one using you to do what He has already ordained for you before the foundation of the world!
All you have to do now, is yield yourself to Him and say yes to His will. He is the one doing the work. The only way you may not excel in Him is by resisting His promptings. Yield yourself to His leadings, His promptings, and to His instructions in His Word.
Know that you are not the one trying to make it anymore. You did that when your life was still yours. Now it doesn’t belong to you anymore. It is the Lord’s now, and He is the one enlisting your help for you to succeed!
When you do this, you will never struggle, hallelujah.
He is the one at work in you. Your life is no longer yours. Take advantage of His power by yielding to Him from now!
2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God.
CONFESSION
The Lord is at work in me both to will and to do of His good pleasure. I am doing the will of the Father, and I am going higher and higher in my destiny and in my glory in life. I am moving forward in life, and I am more than a conqueror in everything that concerns me, in Jesus Name.
