DISTRACTIONS AND FULFILLING YOUR DESTINY

“Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42

 

One of the devil’s most important messengers is distraction.

 

Every human being, both good and bad, was made in heaven by God, and sent to the earth for a reason. Once they get here, the devil’s most important goal is to distract them from the reason they were made and sent to the earth in the first place, and take up their time with something which is unnecessary at best, or evil at worst.

 

This is why we see distractions in so many ways, all around us, everyday.

 

Social media, tv, friends, even neighbours and family members tend to do things that if we are not very disciplined, Word-focused and forgiving, will distract us from what we ought to be focusing on – our purpose and success.

 

It is not by mistake that very little would remind you that you have a divine purpose from the Lord, and you need to focus on it. It is not by mistake that most messaging you would get from both traditional and social media is, relax and have fun, live an exciting, fun life, etc. It is intentional.

 

Very few places and people would talk to you about your success and your purpose in life. You have to intentionally choose to focus on it by yourself, everyday.

 

Very few people/things will remind you to focus on your purpose and succeed. You have to remind yourself.

 

It is an everyday fight that you must start embarking on today.

 

Jesus is there with you, and He has put His life and wisdom to guide and strengthen you. The Word of God says that IN ALL THESE THINGS, you are more than a conqueror – Romans 8:37.

 

You will win in Jesus Name.

 

All you need is to take a decision to start fighting distractions today, and confess that you will win.

 

CONFESSION

 

I am a Son of the King of Kings, and I am filled with the power and wisdom of my Father. I know what to do everyday in life. I fight and win over the distractions from my success and my purpose, in Jesus Name. I am more than a conqueror. Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. I am a victor. I will fulfil my destiny, and I will be a success in Jesus mighty Name.

Psalm 119:15 I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways.

1 Corinthians 7:35 I say this for your own benefit, not to lay any restraint upon you, but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure {and win} in it.
