No matter your story, decreasing the importance of hardwork and focus would always make it much worse.
When God blesses you, focus and serious hardwork is how you cook the food He has already made available to you.

Faith without works is dead. Prayer without action is not enough…
Put some action to your belief. Do something about your wishes.
Believe… and act.
