Reign As Kings In Life

We were made to reign as kings in life.
‘Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion … over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” ‘ Genesis 1:26
Genesis 1:26 records the statement the Lord made when He was about to make man. He detailed His major reasons for making him here. He mentioned
- How man would be made in the image and likeness of God, and
- How he would be made for DOMINION over the earth and everything that creeps upon it.
God’s major reason for making man was to make sons who would be in His own image, likeness and have His abilities. However, before He would give them His abilities, power and authority, He had to see how faithful they would be to Him. After all, He had given Lucifer power in heaven, but he rebelled, and now he was creeping around in the garden God had made. When Gen 1:26 mentioned dominion over every creeping thing, it was referring to the devil and his demons. (Luke 10:19).
So man was destined to be given the power to become Sons of God. This would happen when Jesus would come.
But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the Sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: John 1:12 KJB
So, God was in charge in heaven, and he needed those who would be given the power to become His sons to be in charge on the earth.
But the devil saw this as a threat, and worked to deceive the man and woman, so that they would not see this great gift from God, and would instead cut themselves off from it by disobeying Him.
However, the Lord still had a plan to return man to the position of power and dominion as a Son of God, so they would reign as kings in life. That plan was to send Christ to the earth to pay for all man’s sin on the cross, and so bring him to the position of sonship and dominion in Christ, hallelujah.
Now, if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, you have been returned to the position of power and dominion. But devil is still doing what he did in Genesis – trying to deceive men out of knowing who they are – so do not fall for it…
How to Reign as Kings in Life
Accept and confess that you are a Son of God, and that you are full of power and dominion in every affair of your life. Say that you are moving forward unstoppably. Pray, and let the Holy Spirit lead you into the level of walking in your glorious purpose and destiny, to reign as kings in life, hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I know who I am. My life is given to Christ, and I am full of the Lord’s power for dominion. I reign over the situations of my life as a king. My words are full of power, and I am more than a conqueror. I am alive to my identity in Christ. I am conscious of the truth that I was made for dominion in my life, and I cannot be put down by the devil or by any situation anymore, in Jesus Name, hallelujah!
MORE LIGHT (MEDITATE ON, AND PRAY WITH THESE)
Romans 5:17 For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
Revelation 5:10 And you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”
Revelation 1:6 And made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.
