with a broken heart

The King with a Broken Heart

Wednesday 12th April 2023   Mark 15:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.   There was once a rich and powerful king who had children whom he loved a lot.   One day, a criminal came and kidnapped all his children, leaving only the first one. He was too strong to seize.   The kidnapper said he would never let them go, until an impossible ransom was paid.   After discovering that the situation was very serious, the king sent his strongest, remaining son to take the very large ransom to the kidnappers.   The kidnappers took the ransom, but the children had been in captivity for so long that they were slow t... »

You are a New Creation

Tuesday 11th April 2023   Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, Ephesians 1:4 NKJV   In yesterday’s study, we learned how we were created in Christ Jesus before the creation of the world, to be holy and blameless before Jesus in love.   In other words, the new creation was made in Christ, and after this, the world was made (2 Cor 5:17).   Before the Lord made the world, He had already seen how man would be disobedient to Him, and all the issues this would create, both before and after Jesus came to pay the price for man.   He then made us in Christ with all we needed to be so... »

You are a Saviour

Monday 10th April 2023   Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, Ephesians 1:4 NKJV   The Word tells us in our theme verse that you were chosen in Christ Jesus before the foundation of the world.   In other words, we were made in Christ before the world was even made or created.   The Word says we were made to be holy and without blame in Him, even before the foundation, or beginning, of the world.   Before the world was even founded, we were made to be blameless (righteous), and live as kings and priests on the earth. (Rev 1:5,6).   And saviours shall come up on Mount Zion t... »

on the cross

What Jesus Really Did on the Cross

Friday 7th April 2023   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Peter 1:3   Happy Good Friday.   Because of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross about 2000 years ago, we have the life of God today.   For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 NKJV   Only God has everlasting life, because only God lives forever. Everlasting life is the life of God.   This is the very life Jesus gave to us through His sacr... »

ministry of angels

How to Activate the Ministry of Angels

Thursday 6th April 2023   Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his Word. Psalm 103:20 NIV   The Word tells us in our opening verse what angels respond to, and act on.   Angels are real. Some may feel they are not, but the Word makes it very clear to us that they are.   However, there are ways we can get them to move on our behalf.   We cannot just have angels move on our behalf because we have a need, for instance. There are things we need to put in place to get their obedience.   Our opening verse tells us how angels “do his bidding and obey his Word”.   What does this mean? Angels are actually made b... »
