seedtime and harvest

Seedtime and Harvest 2 – Multiplication

Wednesday 26th April 2023   Read this conversation:   “The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together! Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn’t plant and gathering crops you didn’t cultivate. I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.’   “But the master replied, ‘You wicked and lazy servant! If you knew I harvested crops I didn’t plant and gathered crops I didn’t cultivate, Why didn’t you d... »

seedtime and harvest

Seedtime and Harvest

Tuesday 25th April 2023   Genesis 8:22 As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.”   In this verse, the Lord set a deep spiritual principle into place: seedtime and harvest will never end on the earth.   For every harvest that looks nice, there are seeds that were sown. For every seed sown, there will be a harvest. Sowing seeds is not usually very easy.   Psalm 126:4-6 4 Turn back our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the South. 5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves wit... »

watch and pray

Watch and Pray

Monday 24th April 2023   Stay awake and pray that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Mark 14:38   The verse above is a popular one in Christianity. It tells us to watch and pray.   What exactly does this mean, though?   We all know what the word ‘pray’ means. However, how about ‘watch’?   This word in the English is translated from the Greek word, ‘GREGOREUO”.   It means: to ‘be careful so that through remission and indolence (laziness), some destructive calamity would not suddenly overtake one’. It also means ‘to give strict attention to, be cautious, active’   In other words, stay sharp, and be smart. ... »

do not compare

Do Not Compare

Friday 21st April 2023   For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Romans 8:5   A lot of the time, as committed Christians, we compare ourselves with our friends, acquaintances, colleagues, etc who are not so committed, in terms of achievements, financial status, etc. However, is there really a basis for comparison?   This is just like comparing a wooden chair to a glass table. There is actually little or no basis for comparison.   For one, our priorities are different. The Bible tells us “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after... »

spirit messengers

Spirit Messengers

Thursday 20th April 2023   The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63   Jesus said here that His words to us are spirit and life. All the words of Jesus are spirit and life, because they minister the spirit of Life to our spirits anytime we read or hear them.   However, not only the words of Jesus are spirits. Every word carries spirit   The Bible puts it this way in Proverbs 18:21:   Death and life are in the power of the tongue: And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 18:21   In other words, our mouths can release a spirit of death or life when we speak words out of them.   When we speak ne... »
