Someone asked me recently ‘Why is God not answering my prayers?’

‘Hmmm… Who said God is not answering your prayers?’ I asked.

‘But the things I am praying for, I have not gotten them…’ they answered.

‘Hmmm.. Did you know it’s your faith that gets you your answer to your prayers?’

‘Yes, I know.’

‘Well,’ I said, ‘The Bible says that for one, the Lord gives us even more than we ask for – Eph 3:20; secondly, All things are yours, given to you by God – 1 Cor 3:21, and thirdly, He always, every time answers YES to our prayers in Christ – 2 Cor 1:20.’

It was quite an interesting discussion.

As Christians, it’s our faith that gets answers to our prayers.

It’s not Jesus for example that chose who would get healed and who wouldn’t get healed in the crowd with the woman with the issue of blood.

The woman herself took her healing with her faith. That’s why Jesus had to get others to look for her. If he had given it to her Himself, He would have not been looking for her.

Your faith TAKES your answer from God. He has already made the power to get your needs available to you, just like Jesus (who is the power of God) was available to everyone the day that woman received her healing.

Some people ask how about if God allowing me to get it might hurt me? God would not allow you receive any thing that would hurt you, so, part of the work your faith has to do in order for you to receive your request, is to be able stop the hurt, or take you to the place you need to get to in order to receive your request – all by faith…

The Bible says EVERYTHING is possible to him who can believe (have the faith to carry it) – Mark 9:23.

There are just 2 factors that actually affect the answers to your prayers, and God is not one of them: your faith, or the devil trying to stop your manifestation.

With regards to your faith, what you need to do in order to get results to your prayers is to CONFESS in line with what you believe you received, and ACT on that belief.

With regards to the wiles of the devil, come against any devil attacking the answers to your prayers, in Jesus Name.
