Faith is the currency of heaven. It is the way we get our prayers answered, our needs met.

The more we know about faith, the more results we get.

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Mark 11:23 NKJV

We receive from God by faith, not necessarily by Him deciding to have mercy on us and answer our prayers.

Mark 5:25–34 tells us about the woman with the issue of blood. When we go through that story, we will discover that it’s not necessarily because she touched Jesus that the she was healed. She was not the only one who touched Jesus.

In verse 31, we see this reply when Jesus asked who touched Him:

But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”

Almost everyone was touching Him.

We touch Jesus everytime. When we fellowship with Him, when we pray, when we cry to Him… We touch Him so frequently.

Touching Him is important.

But touching Him doesn’t necessarily mean we must receive from Him. As the story of the woman with an issue of blood shows, touching is okay, but results come from faith while touching Him, not just touching Him.

But how do we get that type of faith?

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17

This type of faith comes by speaking and acting on the Word of God.

We have to spend time with the Word, let it become a permanent part of us, speak it out in faith, and act on it.
