the very opposite

You are Going Through the Very Opposite

Friday 2nd June 2023   Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12   Are you going through the very opposite right now?   Joseph was a man who went through a lot of things. He was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, and became a prisoner.   His destiny was to sit in honor, on an elevated throne, ruling as a king.   But he was challenged with becoming the very opposite of a king – he became a slave and a prisoner for a long time until his turnaround experience.   Let’s look at Moses a bit too. His destiny was to beco... »

Shake Yourself!

Tuesday 30th May 2023   And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him. Judges 16:20   In the passage above, we read how Samson gave his secret to Delilah, and Delilah took advantage of it to cut off his hair, which was his covenant with God.   There is another very key thing in this passage, though.   Samson said, “I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself.”   There was a way Samson would shake himself when he wanted the anointing to come on him. When he did that, the anointing for superhuman stre... »

Recharge with the Word

Friday 26th May 2023   Moses said to them, “It is the bread the Lord has given you to eat. Then he said to them, “No one is to keep any of it until morning.” Exodus 16:15b,19   Once upon a time while the Israelites were in the desert, they started grumbling about being hungry to Moses. Moses talked to God, and the Lord answered him that he would miraculously rain down bread from heaven to feed them.   The next morning there was dew all over the comp, and when it dried, there were white, flaky wafers great for eating that made the people say ‘What is this??’. It was the bread from heaven, hallelujah.   However, there was something about this bread. It only lasted for one d... »

Faith and Hope 3 – The Word of Faith

Wednesday 24th May 2023   Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23   Our opening verse tells us above that there is absolutely nothing that is not possible to anyone who can have the faith for it.   There is nothing faith cannot do.   The Bible tells us how the Lord made the world by saying ‘Let there be light’, and the Word says ‘And there was light’ – Gen 1:3   This is the process of faith. The process of faith goes like this: you have to speak in line with what you believe, firmly in your heart, and then, you will have what you say.   The whole of creation was made by God this way – by faith. ... »

Faith and Hope 2 – Faith is the Answer

Tuesday 23rd May 2023   Yesterday, we talked about the differences between faith and hope. We talked about how hope is full of confidence that God will do it, but faith takes it a step further by believing that the Lord has ALREADY done it.   Because of this, faith lives in a place of praise, thanksgiving and gratitude always to God.   The functional part, or the part that brings down the answers, in your prayer life, is your faith. Praying without faith is like shooting a gun without bullets. It has no results.   Some pray and say, ‘God, do something, my whole life is in a mess’, or something in that order. Faith does not talk that way.   Some other Christians pra... »
