GOD’S EXPECTATION OF YOU

-Forgive those that offend you

Mark 11:25;
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Forgiveness is the act of pardoning somebody for a mistake, misunderstanding, wrong doing or inappropriate behaviour.
In the Lord’s prayer, Jesus taught that the the condition for us to be forgiven by God is for us to first forgive those that offend us. If you do not forgive those that offended you, your prayers will be hindered. Satan takes advantage of a heart that is filled with grudge. If God who is our Father forgives, then we as His children are expected to behave like Him and also forgive all those that offend us.

Luke 6:36,37;
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

Proverbs 11:17;
The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.

CONFESSION
Thank you Father for giving me a forgiving heart and always helping me forgive all those that offend me. I decree that the Spirit of love and forgiveness is at work in my life. Therefore, I bear no grudge against any man.
