Don’t feel God is slow in your case. When you follow Jesus, your life becomes a miracle.
When God spoke to Joseph, his life became a miracle. The next place he found himself was slavery. But thank God he was patient. God would use him to do what no one in his family had ever done, but what he needed to do was hold on to God and persevere.

With ONLY perseverance, nothing can stop you from getting to your dreams/purpose.
It is impossible to keep a man down who keeps coming, no matter the blows you are giving him. The devil gave Joseph the blows of slavery and prison life, but he kept believing, he kept coming.
