October 2023 – The Month Of Joy!
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Galatians 5:22-24
The Bible tells us that when we walk in the Spirit, we will not fulfill the works of the flesh. The fruit of the spirit, which produce the spirit walk, are laid out by the Apostle Paul in the verse above.
The fruit of the spirit are extremely important to our growth and results in Christ Jesus. Apostle Peter talks about an extremely similar concept in the book of 2nd Peter. He said this about the fruit:
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 1:8 KJV
In other words, when these fruit are manifested in your life, they make your life as a Christian full of answers and results.
In this month of October, the Lord is going to be teaching us about understanding the fruit of the spirit, and how to manifest it in our lives.
He shall be sharing the grace to walk in these fruit also, hallelujah!
Sometimes, we have learned about faith, how to enforce our authority, etc. However, we are not seeing enough of the types of results we expect from the Word.
At such times, we need to take a look at if there is enough of the fruit of the spirit in our lives.
And beside this, giving all diligence, ADD TO YOUR FAITH virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For IF THESE THINGS BE IN YOU, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be BARREN OR UNFRUITFUL in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 1:5-8 KJV
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. Gal 5:17
From this, we see that doing the fruit of the spirit are the path to living the true victorious Christian life.
You are victorious in Christ, in Jesus Name.
CONFESSION
I am living the true victorious Christian life in Christ, walking in the fruit of the spirit. I am living in faith, love, joy, strength, and victory. I am walking in the steps the Holy Spirit leads, and in which He personally leads me. I am more than a conqueror in everything in Jesus Name.

John 15:2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
Colossians 3:12-17 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
Matthew 12:33 Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit.
John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
