The Lord has left a great inheritance for us, but the devil wants to steal kill and destroy it.

‘The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.’ John 10:10

The Bible tells us that the Lord has given us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ – Eph 1:3. However, we still see so many Christians suffering and going through so many issues ih in life. Why is this?

‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..’ Hosea 4:6a

You cannot fight the devil if you do not know the indepth details of your inheritance from the Word of God. The only solution to the attack of the devil on what the Lord has given us, is the deep knowledge of God’s Word.

The devil behaves like a thug, or a land grabber. He takes over the blessings, or the lands which the Lord has given you, and if you are not aware and exactly sure of the dimensions of your blessings or lands, would never allow you access to them.

You have to first know the exact inheritance that is yours in Christ from the Word, and after you know, you need to claim it by force by confessing that same Word and making prayer.

‘Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.’ Ephesians 6:11-13

The armor of God is the Word of God.

The Word of God is a tool. You need to take it up and use it to put the devil on a run today and everyday.

‘Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.’ James 4:7

If you can study the Word and speak it consistently, the devil will flee from you!

I am full of the knowledge of God’s Word. I know who I am, and I know what the Lord has given to me. I study the Word, I receive my inheritance in Christ by revelation, and I take it by force. 2 Corinthians 4:4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Hebrews 2:14 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil.
