How to not get caught lacking or in darkness, by God’s Word
Are you worried about how to not get caught lacking in one area of your life, health, finances, or another? Here are some steps to help you not get caught lacking and in darkness, in any area of your life.
‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God.
John 1:1
The Bible lets us know that the Word of God is not just words, it is God Himself.
See this also:
‘The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.’
Psalms 119:130
And this:
This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is
Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
1 John 1:5
God is light, and the entrance of His Word gives us light in our spirit and in our lives.
John 1:1 says:
‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God’.

In other words, the Word of God is God. Therefore, the entrance of the Word in
Psalm 119:130 above, is the entrance of God and His power into our lives!
‘But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the
Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ
the power of God and the wisdom of God. ‘
I Corinthians 1:23-24
John 1:1, talking about Jesus, says He is the Word, and He is God. 1 Corinthians1:23-24, talking about Him too, says He is the Power and the Wisdom of God.
In other words, the Word of God is the Power and the Wisdom of God.
If you need more of God’s power in your life, you need to go for the Word of God.
The knowledge of the Word will bring in the Power and Light of God into your life to
set you free from every darkness.
What is darkness? Darkness is lack, it is sickness. It is poverty, it is pain, it is
confusion, it is bitterness, it is oppression and attacks. It is mediocrity and lack of
excellence.
The Light of God’s Word would set you free from all these.
All these things are darkness, and the Word of God is light. It would set you free from
them.
Most of our prayer points can be solved through knowledge and the Word of God.
‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected
knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have
forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.’
Hosea 4:6
‘Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.’
Psalms 119:105
The Word brings the Light and the Power of God to level mountains and fill up
valleys in our lives.
When Peter saw Jesus walking on water in Matthew 14:25, he was able to walk on
water by looking at Jesus continually. He was able to do the miraculous by looking at
Jesus.
Jesus is the Word. By studying and meditating on the Word everyday, our lives will
become and everyday trip of the miraculous.
Lord, give me a passion for Your Word like never before. May I walk in grace and fire
for study and meditating on Your Word, such that it gives me great power, and
makes the river of the miraculous always flow in and out from me, in Jesus mighty
Name.
